Tubular, a jquery plugin for fullscreen bg video

I ran into something really cool today. It was already possible to use fullscreen background video. Either in a fullscreen flash way or a HTML5 way like I did a few months ago for kissinger for example. More info and overview for HTML5 video you can find here:
http://fronteers.nl/blog/2011/12/html5-video-een-overzicht

Now Tubular offers this possibility in a new way. It’s a jquery plugin where you can add youtube movies as a bg video. Pretty cool and offers a lot of options to use it in a creative way. Check it out!

Sup?

Designing a couple of new freelance projects. One in particular I’m pretty siked for creating, more about that one later. (Probably ready end november somewhere).

Also this week we launched another kissinger site. Thanks Thomas Wiese for helping out with the wordpress programming when time was limited.

Diving into “responsive webdesign”. Studying (and using) some more HTML5. Also excited about some webdesign projects we’re doing at Gonzales. And especially about using some new techniques and some awesome stuff we’ve accomplished in the last months. Learning a lot of great new things.

Diesel denim …

I love the way they did the “turning navigation” thingie. Very well accomplished. Go check it out!

6 really cool websites …

Here are 6 websites I think are pretty amazing for different reasons. For some I like the way they are designed in total. Some other are not necessarily pretty designs but are cool because the navigation is genious and some just have that little extra that makes it “not just a website”.
